A Girl next to me

I’m sitting in the cafeteria, waiting for my friends to arrive. Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder, I don’t need to hear anything else than her soft laugh, and I know whom that hand belongs to. 

“Megan.”

She sits beside me and smiles as brightly as always.

“Hello stranger”, she says and kisses my cheek.

“Hi beautiful”, I have to answer as I take her hand in mine.

I cannot make a reasonable sentence, I just sit there and keep looking in her eyes, ‘cause they are absolutely breathtaking. She must have the most beautiful eyes in this world, they’re almost unreal. Like the sky and a fresh spring forest melted together, bright blue with green shades and a smidgen of dark brown.

 I smell her fragrance when she leans to whisper in my ear: “What‘s on your mind sweetie?” 

I Can‘t help myself smiling when I glance down at our hands. When I raise my eyes back to her she smiles as well.

 “Just you and how much I love you.”

 I don’t dare to tell her how much she actually means to me, that my life has been nothing but sunshine and rainbows since she came along. I just have to hope that my actions tell her that for me.

“You silly little thing”, she says and wraps her arms around me.

I caressed her back while enjoying her body warmth. I don’t really care if I look stupid just sitting there smiling like a fool, just as long as she’s there.

She gets off of me when my friend Dave appears. Dave sits in front of me, and I must say he’s a bit rude; he greeted me, but not Megan. Luckily, she doesn’t seem to mind.

Dave starts talking about some school project, but I don’t pay attention to him, all I see is the girl next to me.

“I’d like to kiss you, but now that Dave’s here…”

“Umm, Todd, who are you talking to?”

“Megan, obviously, I wouldn’t kiss you would I?”

”Todd?”

”Hmm?”

”There’s no one in that chair.”

Whoa, tämäpä oli hyvä. Loppuratkaisu oli yllättävä! Jotenkin veti ihan sanattomaksi.

Ihan oikeasti, en tiedä mitä sanoa. :D Paitsi sen, että rakastin tätä.

Tässä kohtaa ajattelin, että jopas on töykeä kaveri. Ei huomioi ollenkaan tyttöä, mutta ihanasti olit lisännyt tuon, ettei Meganin haitannut se ollenkaan. Ettei hän välittänyt, vaikkei Dave sanonut mitään.

Ja sitten tuli tuo loppu. Jotenkin se oli surullinenkin. Oliko tuo poika (onko se muuten edes poika?!) niin yksinäinen, että hän kuvitteli Meganin? Jotenkin jäi avoimeksi tuo tarina, mutta se on jotenkin myös ihanan salaperäistä.

Oijoi, tämä oli ihana! Ja vielä englanniksi, mahtavaa. (:

Kyllä, Todd on mielestäni poika. En osaa itseasiassa vastata miksi tämä Meganin kuvitteli, enkä ehkä halua. Se on vähän kenenkin päätettävissä, että oliko tämä yksinäinen vai muuten TiuTiu. Vähän mietin että pitäisikö tätä jatkaa, mutta totesin että tämä on paljon kevyempi jos loppu on tuollainen. Ja ehkä mielestäni siinä on enemmän voimaa kun se on noin.
